Ariana Grande Reveals Her Natural Curly Hair Without Ponytail

Ariana Grande’s hair is so famous, it has a habit of making headlines when she suddenly decides to move its position. It’s slick, glossy, and pin, pin, pin straight. And practically headache-inducingly tight.

So imagine our surprise when she went about revealing to her fans on social media that she does sometimes let it down for real - and it’s nothing like we thought.

Ariana took to Instagram to share a photo of her quarantine hair in all its beautifully curly glory. 'Get a load of dis', she captioned the natural snap.

Fans took to the comments section in their droves to comment on how different (but great!) her hair looks during isolation. If we needed any inspo to let our natural hair do its thing, this is certainly it.

It's not the first time that Ari has given us a sneak peek at her natural, short hair. In a photo shared on her social media earlier this year, Ariana can be seen twirling her, short, curly ponytail and her fans went wild for it.

One fan wrote: "She looks so beautiful and kinda different. iconic hair,' while another said: "Do your hair like this more often" and a third added: "Are we ever going to see you on stage with just your natural hair? I really miss your curly hair. I think short hair could be a cute look on you."

She also shared a photo of her adorable five-year old self with shoulder-length hair and ringlets, telling the world, “This is still exactly what I look like without lashes and my pony," adding, "The only difference is that hand now says bbq grill finger," she said, jokingly referencing her misspelled Kanji tattoo.

Then a fan decided to respond by asking her what it looks like when it’s not meticulously styled and she only went and did it, sharing a video of her twiddling her hair with her fingers - which is naturally shoulder-length and very, very curly.

It didn’t take long for her fans to react, many telling her how totally gorgeous she looked with her natural, unstyled hair. One fan tweeted, begging her to “please throw away the extensions, your real hair is so cute.”

We love that Ari was more than happy to ditch the look for social media and wasn’t afraid to show her followers the real work that goes into creating her signature look, thanks to a hairstylist and heaps of hair extensions.
