The son of Craig Ross Jr. - the man arrested Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping 9-year-old Charlotte Sena in New York - profanely disavowed his father, saying he 'couldn't give a f***' if he dropped dead.

Last night, Sena was found in a trailer where Craig Ross Jr, 47, was living. He had left his DNA on a ransom note that he delivered to Charlotte's parents on Monday morning. Now, he is in custody on first-degree kidnapping charges.

Ross' adult son, Joshua, was confronted at the kidnapper's home - where Joshua said he lives - in upstate New York and when confronted by reporters, seemed completely done with his father.

'We want nothing to do with him,' Joshua Ross told TMZ. 'I could give a f**k if the dude dropped dead tomorrow.'

'I could give a f**k if anything, I couldn't care less. He's disgusting. He's gross! He should die, I couldn't care less.'

He had that he 'couldn't give a rat's a** what happens' in a testy confrontation from the home with a reporter from TMZ.

Ross Jr had recently moved into the trailer where missing Charlotte Sena was found because he was suffering from multiple sclerosis, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The 47-year-old reportedly suffered from the condition so badly that he struggled to get around the property in Porters Corner, New York, and had fallen behind on payments.

He was charged with one count of kidnapping after the nine-year-old vanished while riding her bike on a family camping trip at Moreau Lake State Park in upstate New York.

Hulking Ross was arraigned at Wilton Town Court in the early hours of Tuesday, and is being held without bail in Saratoga County Jail in Ballston Spa.

Neighbors told DailyMail.com that the 6'4' 275lb father-of-three barely spoke and could often be seen working in his yard.

He moved into the trailer at the rear of his mother's property around a month ago, after the debilitating condition worsened.

Ross, who appeared disheveled in a mugshot released by New York State Police, was described as a 'recluse' who would care for his 11-year-old daughter for half of the week at his $180,000 three-bedroom home.

Federal agents and state troopers swooped on the home, which is less than two miles from Charlotte's family property, on Monday night.

State Troopers remained on the scene on Tuesday, with crime scene tape blocking the drive to the building and two additional buildings.

One neighbor said: 'It's the best scenario that she's been found. Last night I heard sirens, and the entire road was covered with undercover cars and state police and Troopers.

'I asked if I should be concerned, and the police asked me to look at photos and I told them yeah, that's Craig he owns that house and his sons live there now.

'They're in their 20s, I've briefly seen them but they keep to themselves. My kids ride their bikes up to his mailbox and that's about it.

'He was pretty reclusive, he moved in shortly after us. He made a driveway earlier in the year and never quite finished it,' added the neighbor.

'This was his home up until about four weeks ago, he had to move back into the trailer with his mom because his MS got so bad.'

Locals confirmed that they were asked to identify images of Ross by police, and confirmed that he lived in the property with his two sons.

They added that his daughter spent a lot of time at his home before the incident, and they never expected the kidnapping to be linked to 'the quiet neighbor'.

'Charlotte is from two miles away, so in this rural area he is close to her,' another neighbor said. 'I was shocked by all of this.

'His daughter spent a lot of time here, she was half here and half with her mom. It was just him up until recently, with his sons moving in.

'The troopers said that they were planning on questioning him all night. He has three houses in his name so we don't know if he has money trouble or anything.

'It's the sticks here. If you don't want your relatives in the house you put them out back.'

Ross was snared by officers after leaving a ransom note in the mailbox of the Sena family home in Greenfield at 4.20am on Monday.

Troopers had been swapping their shift, so missed the opportunity to nab the alleged kidnapper dropping off the message.

Fingerprints on the note matched a 1999 DUI charge for Ross in Saratoga, with cops swooping on 'multiple properties' that he was linked to.

Investigators remain on the scene at Barrett Road, Milton, where Charlotte was found cowering in a cabinet inside of Ross's trailer.

The structure is in the rear of his mother's property. New York Governor Kathy Hochul confirmed at a press conference that his elderly mother Jean was home at the time of the raid.

Ross, who is not a registered sex offender, resisted arrest when officers attended his property but was taken into custody at 6.30pm.

Charlotte was taken to Albany Medical Center and was described as being in 'good health', before she was reunited with her parents.

A motive for the crime is unclear, with investigators continuing to probe any links between Charlotte's family and Ross.

Police issued an Amber Alert in the case on Sunday, almost 24 hours after Charlotte had been reported missing by her family.

She was found about 13 miles south of her family home.

The multi-agency search spanned 46 miles and included 400 search personnel and dozens of federal, state, and local bodies on the ground.

Charlotte was cycling alone on Loop A of Moreau Lake State Park in New York near Saratoga Springs when she vanished at 6.15pm on Saturday.

She had been cycling with friend and relatives, but said she wanted to do 'one final loop' alone before returning to camp.

Her parents called authorities after discovering her bike on the trail at 6.47pm, with authorities scouring the 6,250-acre park and found no sign of her.

Hochul said on Monday night: 'We are overjoyed at the news that Charlotte Sena has been located safely this evening after an intense days-long search. Our hearts are with her family as they welcome her home.

'Thank you to the New York State Police, New York Park Police and all who worked so tirelessly to find Charlotte.

'It is because of their efforts that Charlotte will be able to return home safe to her family.'

An emotional neighbor described the moment that she saw Charlotte be rescued from Ross' trailer, telling DailyMail.com the little girl was 'everyone's child' as she went missing.

Erica said that she had an 'out of body experience' when she saw the little girl's face passing her window as she was carried by SWAT team members to the back of an ambulance.

'She was everyone's child, everyone here was looking for her', she said. 'We didn't hear anything at all, we had no idea that she was next door in the RV.

'I totally lost it after we saw them put her in the back of the ambulance. She seemed fine but I just wanted to hold her until her mother got there. She was covered with a blanket and taken away.

'There were at least 30 officers on the road, in camo gear with guns. They had flash bangs and broke into the RV at the back of the house at 6.23pm.'

Her husband Michael added that Ross had covered up the windows to the RV trailer a few months before Charlotte's disappearance.

He said: 'I grew up next to Craig, and those kids were never allowed in the house. His mother was a drunk, and would lock them out.

'We would look after him, feed him, clean up his wounds if he got beat up. I was surprised that he moved back in with her because he hated her. I wouldn't be surprised if she just ignored what was going on in her back yard.

'We always got bad vibes from the family, but never anything like this. The fact that he put the tarp over the windows of the RV makes me think that maybe he was planning this.

'There were so many people going in and out of that house, the cops are definitely looking, or seem to be, at if anyone else was involved.'

Michael says cops quizzed him on the number of vehicles at the property, and who lived in the small home, in an attempt to pin down who kidnapped the young girl.

The couple had no idea that Charlotte was locked inside the trailer for at least a day next to their home.

'We didn't hear or see anything,' Erica added. 'It's awful to think that she could have been screaming in there and we had no idea.

'The officers were so professional, and you could hear the sigh of relief when they knew that they had her. They were clapping and cheering. It was amazing to see and hear.'
